In 1 Corinthians 3 Paul calls out the immaturity in the Corinthian church and dismantles their sinful elevation of their leaders by showing them it’s God’s grace that produces all that is good and life giving in His people. Therefore, we can examine ourselves and trust God to grow us to maturity, we can accurately view ourselves as God’s workers, and face accountability for our actions without fear. All of these actions help the church grow in unity because we are all in desperate need of His grace and the gospel.
