Now that God has brought His people out of Egypt and established a covenantal relationship with them - how will this Holy God dwell among His sinful people? Today we jump into the Old Testament sacrificial system that was a gracious provision of God to allow a substitute to suffer for their sins while maintaining the holy and just nature of God. The OT sacrifices were also pointing to the day when Jesus, the Lamb of God, would come and the final sacrifice would be made that would take away the penalty of the sins of God’s people forever.
